Vinland Saga: A Review

How it started... It was about two years ago when I had just finished watching Attack on Titan till it was released and was looking for a new anime to watch. I was looking for something that had kind of a dark, moody, depressing kind of feel to it. When I went to my brother for a suggestion, he suggested the anime in the title of this blog, Vinland Saga.  Now, at the time, I had just started watching anime and only had watched about 3 to 4 animes including AoT. I did not watch any trailers at that time since the animes suggested by my brother were all 10/10 and trusted him for this one as well.  Season 1 I excitedly went on my browser and searched for Vinland Saga and clicked on the first episode. On completion of the first episode, I thought it did not have that "dark, moody" feel to it that much. But as I progressed through the next 5 to 6 episodes, I found a hint of those vibes that I desired, but not too much.  Since I was suggested this anime in accordance to the fee...

A Place Further Than The Universe: A Review

There are a lot of underrated animes out there or, you know, good animes that do not get enough recognition. But the anime series, A Place Further Than The Universe, despite being quite highly rated in MAL(My Anime List) and ranking at 120 with a rating of 8.52 at the time of writing this blog, is an anime that I, personally, do not hear about much in the anime community. Now, I say this because animes like Demon Slayer(Kimetsu No Yaiba), One Punch Man, Neon Genesis Evangelion have less rating than the anime A Place Further Than The Universe, but are still talked about way more than the anime that has a higher rating than them. So yeah, I'm not blaming anyone or any community nor the anime themselves, neither am I saying it's wrongly rated. I'm just saying that it's kind of counter-intuitive tbh. Before we proceed to the review, let's have a look at the overview of the anime for the ones who have not watched it yet: Filled with an overwhelming sense of wonder for th...

The Broken Eminence in Shadow Protagonist

There are many anime viewers, maybe most, who dream of living the life of their favourite, or any other, anime characters at least once in their lifetime where they save their school from terrorists or fight against evil or anything like that. I know I do.  But who would've thought, even in their wildest dreams, that we would see an anime character living the life like that of an anime character. The one I am talking about, is none other than Cid Kagenou, from the anime series, "The Eminence in Shadow" or " Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! " in Japanese, which quickly garnered attention due to the innate quirky yet badass nature of the anime.  If you haven't seen this anime yet, you are missing out. Big time. This anime is pretty out of the ordinary. Check it out as soon as soon as you can. [Spoilers Ahead]  The anime(just some "recitation") : A guy, Cid Kagenou, intentionally acting as a background/unimportant character in his own anime; but h...

Is Heavenly Delusion worth watching?

It's late 2022. It was probably November or December when I saw a trailer for an anime. It was titled "Heavenly Delusion", in English and "Tengoku Daimakyou" in Japanese. I was like, "Hmm. The animation looks good". So I went ahead and watched the trailer. Then I was like, "Meh. Probably another anime like any other out there". Months passed, and April came. That's when the anime was released. I was going through MAL (MyAnimeList) when I suddenly remembered that I had watched the trailer for this show long ago. So since I had time, I started watching the first episode of the anime.  Boom. That's when it happened. By the time I was in the middle of the episode, I had taken back everything I had said about the show probably being like any other. I just fell in love with the anime. Before even finishing the episode, I wanted to rewatch it. That's how much I was amazed by it.  Since then, I have been watching this anime every week, wi...
