Is Jujutsu Kaisen in trouble?

A few weeks earlier, animators from the production team of Jujutsu Kaisen 2 came on to X(formerly known as Twitter) to express their dissatisfaction regarding the working conditions at studio MAPPA. Due to this, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 episode release may see some hindrance. After the undeniable success of the first season in 2020, the second season of the anime Jujutsu Kaisen began airing on July 6, 2023. Following the release of the anime, the members of the production team started showing criticism online for the grueling schedule for animating the episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen, sometimes even finishing hours before the airing of the episodes. This has sparked frustration among team members, with some even calling for disbandment. In the last few years, the world of anime has witnessed remarkable growth and popularity, with studios delivering exceptional content. One such studio that has been making waves in the industry is MAPPA Studio. With a string of successful anime series under its belt such as Jujutsu Kaisen , Attack on Titan , Chainsaw Man and Vinland Saga , there has been ample curiosity regarding the working conditions at Mappa.
