Fate Series watch order

It is quite hard for an anime watcher who is looking to get into Fate series solely because of its confusing watch order.

So, in this blog, a proper Fate series watch order will be given.

Here, the order of the Fate/Stay Night, which is the CORE of Fate Series, will be given with some detail, and the order of Fate/Grand Order as well. 

Also, Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Grand Order are not related to each other in any manner. Except the fact that they belong to the same franchise. 

Fate/Stay Night watch order:

1. Fate/Stay Night(2006)
2. Fate/Stay Night : Unlimited Blade Works(2010 & 2014-15)
3. Fate/Stay Night : Heaven's Feel [3 Movies] (2017-20)
4. Fate/Zero(2011-12)

1. Fate/Stay Night

Fate/Stay Night is the first Fate anime made. This is the first route among the three routes of Fate/Stay Night. Fate/Stay Night takes place during the Fifth Holy Grail War. This series stars Emiya Shirou who became an orphan after the Fourth Holy Grail War and was taken in by Emiya Kiritsugu.

2. Fate/Stay Night : Unlimited Blade Works(UBW)

This is the second route among the three routes of Fate/Stay Night. Fate/Stay Night:UBW also takes place during the Fifth Holy Grail War. This series stars Emiya Shirou who became an orphan after the Fourth Holy Grail War and was taken in by Emiya Kiritsugu.

3. Fate/Stay Night Heaven's Feel

This is the final and the darkest of the three Fate/Stay Night routes. This route is a trilogy of movies. If you're looking for the route that has the best animation, this is the one. This series starts with the same story as that of the Stay Night and UBW, but takes a dark turn pretty soon.

4. Fate/Zero

Fate/Zero takes place during the Fourth Holy Grail War which took place in Fuyuki City. This series serves as a prequel to the three alternative Fate/Stay Night routes(no. 2,3,4). But this should be watched after watching the previous three to avoid spoilers. 

NOTE:

• To avoid spoilers, watch it in the mentioned order.
• Fate/Stay Night(2006) is the first Fate/Stay Night route by Deen Studio.
• Fate/Stay Night UBW(2010) is a movie by Deen Studio whereas the UBW Series(2014-15) was done by Studio Ufotable. 
• The three movies of Fate/Stay Night Heaven's Feel are :
  1. Heaven's Feel I - Presage Flower (2017)
  2. Heaven's Feel II - Lost Butterfly (2019)
  3. Heaven's Feel III - Spring Song (2020)

1.Fate/Grand Order: First Order

This is where the Fate/Grand Order series starts. This is the movie after which each of the seven Singularity points are corrected.

2.Fate/Grand Order: Divine Realm of the Round Table-Camelot 1 & 2

This is the Sixth Singularity among the seven Singularity points. In this, Mash and Ritsuka try to correct the Singularity by stopping the Lion King, along with a member of the Round Table who has his own mistakes to amend.

3.Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia(Ep 0 & 1-21)

This is the Seventh Singularity among the seven Singularity points. In this, Mash and Ritsuka try to correct the Singulairty by stopping the threat of the Goddesses, along with the infamous King of Heroes, King Gilgamesh ruling, over the city of Uruk in the civilization of Mesopotamia.

4.Fate/Grand Order: Final Singularity-The Grand Temple of Time: Solomon

This is the Final Singularity where Mash and Ritsuka try to go against the King of Mages and correct the Singularity, with the help of other Servants from all the other Singularities from One to Seven. Here, we also learn an important thing about Doctor Romani.

NOTE:

• Only the Sixth, Seventh and the Final Singularities were adapted into anime among all the Singularity points.
• In Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia, first comes the Episode 0, then comes the series with 21 episodes.
